This disorder affects educational achievement and activities of daily living to a considerable amount. The purpose of the present investigation was to study the correlation between motor proficiency with executive function and educational performance of 7-11 year-old children with DCD in Ilam province, Iran. <br /><strong>Materials and methods</strong><strong>:</strong> A descriptive-analytic study was conducted on 53 DCD children, who met the inclusion criteria conditions, randomly selected from the pool of all children in Ilam primary schools. Next, the childrens' motor proficiency, executive function, and educational performance were evaluated using Bruininks Oseretsky test, Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function (BRIEF), and a researcher-made test, respectively. Results were analyzed using SPSS software (version 16) and pearson correlation coefficient. <br /><strong>Results:</strong>Significant correlations were found between the total scores of Bruininks Oseretsky test with the total scores of BRIEF (p <0/01). The correlation between total scores of Bruininks Ossietzky test with spelling test (p <0/01) and math test (p <0/05) was also significant. <br /><strong>Conclusion</strong><strong>:</strong> The present study showed that there is a significant correlation between the motor proficiency with executive function and academic performance of children with DCD, which could be used by clinicians for early intervention to improve executive function and educational performance of children with DCD. مقدمه و اهداف<br /> اختلال هماهنگی تکاملی (DCD) یک نقص جدی در تکامل هماهنگی حرکتی می باشد. این اختلال به طور جدی دستاوردهای تحصیلی و فعالیت های روزمره زندگی را متاثر می کند. هدف تحقیق حاضر بررسی همبستگی بین تبحر حرکتی با عملکرد اجرایی و کارکرد تحصیلی کودکان با اختلال هماهنگی تکاملی 7 تا 11 ساله استان ایلام می باشد.<br /> مواد و روش ها<br /> پژوهش حاضر بر اساس مطالعه توصیفی-تحلیلی می اشد. جامعه مورد پژوهش شامل کلیه کودکانی بود که در مدارس ابتدایی استان ایلام مشغول گذراندن تحصیل بودند. به روش تصادفی ساده 53 کودک DCD واجد شرایط پژوهش از میان آنها انتخاب گردیدند. این کودکان از نظر تبحر حرکتی (با آزمون برونینکس اوزرتسکی) و عملکرد اجرایی (پرسش نامه سنجش رفتاری عملکردهای اجرایی (بریف)) و کارکرد تحصیلی (آزمون محقق ساخته) مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفتند. نتایج با استفاده از نسخه 16 نرم افزار SPSS توسط آزمایه آماری پیرسون مورد تجزیه تحلیل قرار گرفت.<br /> یافته ها<br /> میان نمره کل آزمون برونینکس اوزرتسکی کودکان با نمره کل بریف آنها همبستگی معناداری (01/0<p) وجود داشت. همچنین همبستگی میان نمره کل آزمون برونینکس اوزرتسکی و آزمون املا (01/0< p) و آزمون ریاضی (05/0< p) نیز معنادار بود.<br /> نتیجه گیری<br /> تحقیق حاضر نشان می دهد میان تبحر حرکتی با عملکردهای اجرایی و کارکرد تحصیلی کودکان DCD همبستگی معنادار وجود دارد که این موضوع می تواند استفاده از مداخلات حرکتی زودهنگام را برای بهبود عملکردهای اجرایی و کارکرد تحصیلی کودکان DCD مورد توجه درمانگران قرار دهد. https://medrehab.sbmu.ac.ir/article_1100376_fdc6408418a2cbc478f77e70ccf6cecb.pdf
