بررسی نقش کاهش حدت بینایی، اختلال حساسیت کانتراست و اختلال میدان بینایی در تصادفات رانندگی و توصیه هایی جهت بهبود این عوامل

چکیده

مقدمه و اهداف
یکی از الزامات رانندگی مطمئن، داشتن بینایی خوب و قوی است. برخی اختلالات بینایی، می­تواند خطر تصادفات رانندگی را افزایش دهد؛ لذا مقاله حاضر به بررسی نقش کاهش حدت بینایی، اختلال حساسیت کانتراست و اختلال میدان بینایی در تصادفات و توصیه­هایی که جهت بهبود این عوامل در رانندگان و مسیر جاده­ها و راه­ها می­توان انجام داد، می­پردازد.
مواد و روش ­ها
مقاله حاضر نوعی مطالعه مروری است که در آن جمع­آوری اطلاعات از طریق جستجو در پایگاه­های اطلاعاتی Google Scholar، PubMed و Scopus، محدود به زبان انگلیسی و بدون محدودیت زمان و با استفاده از کلمات کلیدی "حساسیت کانتراست، میدان بینایی، عینک نامناسب، تصادف رانندگی و اختلال بینایی" به صورت جداگانه و توام انجام شد.
یافته­ ها
در صورت وجود ارتباط بین حدت بینایی و تصادفات رانندگی، آن ارتباط بسیار ضعیف می­باشد. همچنین رابطه­ی مستقیمی بین اختلال حساسیت کانتراست با میزان تصادفات رانندگی وجود دارد. نقص میدان بینایی اگر به صورت دوچشمی و شدید باشد، می­تواند خطر تصادفات رانندگی را افزایش دهد. اقداماتی که در جهت بهبود این عوامل انجام شده است بیشتر در قالب توصیه­هایی به رانندگان و تغییر روند غربالگری می­باشد.
نتیجه­ گیری
اختلال حدت بینایی رابطه­ی ضعیفی با میزان تصادفات رانندگی دارد. محققین در مورد رابطه­ی مستقیم اختلال میدان بینایی و تصادفات رانندگی به نظر واحدی نرسیده و برخی عقیده دارند بررسی این موضوع بی­نتیجه است، اما در بین عوامل بررسی­شده، حساسیت کانتراست نسبت به دو فاکتور دیگر تاثیر بیشتری بر تصادفات رانندگی دارد. لذا نیاز به انجام مطالعات وسیع­تر برای شناسایی و کاهش عوامل ایجادکننده­ی اختلال حساسیت کانتراست، ضروری می­باشد.

Background and Aim: One of the requirements of safe driving is having good and strong vision. Some vision disorders, can increase the risk of traffic accidents. The present article was conducted to examine the role of decreased visual acuity, contrast sensitivity disorder, and visual field defect in accidents. Also, some recommendations are provided to improve these factors.
Materials and Methods: In the present review article, three databases of Google scholar, PubMed, and Scopus were search for articles in English and without time limitation using some keywords (Contrast sensitivity, visual field, inappropriate glasses, traffic accidents, and vision impairment) individually and in combinations.
Findings: If there is a correlation between visual acuity and accidents, it is very weak. There was a positive correlation between contrast sensitivity disorder and traffic accidents. The risk of traffic accidents can be increased if the visual field defect is binocular and severe. The main considerations to improve these factors have been in the form of recommendations to drivers and changing screening processes.
Conclusion: Impaired visual acuity has a poor relationship with car accidents. Researchers do not have consensus over the direct relationship between vision disorder and traffic accidents and some believe this issue is inconclusive. But among the factors studied, contrast sensitivity has a greater impact on car accidents compared with the other two factors. Therefore, more studies should be performed to identify and reduce the causes of impaired contrast sensitivity.
