comparison of investigate the effect of cognitive rehabilitation and cognitive - emotional rehabilitation on cognitive and memory performance of brain injury patients

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to comparison of investigate the effect of cognitive rehabilitation and cognitive - emotional rehabilitation on cognitive and memory performance of brain injury patients . the statistical population of this study included all of the affected brain patients who had cognitive deficits and impaired memory , who were referred to the neurology clinic of shahid motahary hospital and psychological clinic Razmehr in shiraz .

since the present study consisted of three groups ( mild , moderate and severe ) and for each group , 15 people and a total of 45 were made available and after measuring with a brief psychological examination scale . persons were randomly assigned to one of the three groups of research in terms of chance . after pre - test , two experimental groups were trained in a 30 - minute sessions , and then both groups were post - test . research instruments included wisconsin card test and wechsler memory test for adults .



the results of analysis of covariance showed significant differences between experimental and control groups in cognitive emotion regulation and cognitive emotion regulation . in these variables the mean post test is more than the control group . The results of analysis of covariance also showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups of cognitive rehabilitation and cognitive-emotional rehabilitation interventions in relation to cognitive function and memory.
