Abstract
In an era when the world relies more than ever on knowledge, innovation, and scientific collaboration to address complex global challenges, wars and military conflicts remain among the greatest obstacles to sustainable development and scientific advancement. Recent conflicts in various regions of the world, particularly in the Middle East, have once again drawn international attention to the far-reaching consequences of warfare. While public discourse often focuses on human casualties, infrastructural destruction, and economic losses, a less visible yet equally significant consequence is the profound disruption of scientific, academic, and research ecosystems.
