The Scientific Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine, affiliated with the School of Rehabilitation Sciences, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, is a scientific-research quarterly journal published in Persian. The journal aims to promote and advance scientific knowledge and research and to disseminate the scholarly activities of researchers from Iran and other countries in various fields of rehabilitation. The journal welcomes submissions from faculty members, researchers, and scholars in different medical and rehabilitation-related disciplines. It accepts Original Articles, Review Articles, and Case Reports for consideration and publication. Authors are kindly requested to carefully observe the following requirements when preparing and submitting their manuscripts.
Manuscripts submitted to this journal must not have been previously published elsewhere, either in Iran or abroad. However, prior publication of an abstract in scientific conferences or meetings does not preclude submission to the journal. A manuscript must not be submitted simultaneously to another journal. If simultaneous submission is identified, the manuscript will automatically be withdrawn from the peer-review process. The author(s) are responsible for the accuracy and content of the manuscript. The publication order of accepted articles is determined according to the journal’s editorial policies and is not related to the scientific status or academic position of the authors. The journal reserves the right to accept or reject submitted manuscripts. Submitted manuscripts are initially evaluated by the Editorial Board and subsequently reviewed by qualified experts in the relevant field. Manuscripts approved for publication will be published according to the journal’s publication schedule. The final decision regarding acceptance and publication of a manuscript is made by the Editorial Board.
Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word 2019 or a later version, in accordance with standard Persian writing conventions and the journal’s formatting requirements. The Persian text of the manuscript should be typed using B Mitra font. The complete manuscript, including all figures, tables, and charts, must be submitted online by the corresponding author after registration and login to the journal website.

Following an initial assessment by the Editor-in-Chief and the relevant Section Editor regarding the subject matter, initial quality, and conformity with the scope of the journal, manuscripts are presented to the Editorial Board for reviewer selection. Three expert reviewers are assigned to each manuscript. After initial approval by the Editor-in-Chief, payment information for the peer-review fee will be sent to the corresponding author. The manuscript will be forwarded to the reviewers after the required payment has been completed.
The fee for expedited peer review is 30,000,000 IRR. Authors are required to deposit this amount into the account specified by the journal and upload a scanned copy of the payment receipt to the journal system.
Please note: Authors should not make any payment until they receive an official payment request email from the journal.
If the manuscript is not accepted, 20,000,000 IRR will be refunded to the author(s).
Fees for final typesetting and Persian and English language editing will be charged separately by the publisher at the final publication stage.
An acceptance certificate will be issued by the Editor-in-Chief after completion of the peer-review process and final approval by the Editorial Board.
